1) Stainless Steel 

   Stainless Steel is a steel alloy (iron and carbon) along with at least 10.5 % chromium added to boost resistance to corrosion. There are many types of stainless steel with structures of both FCC and BCC, but generally most stainless steels are constructed of BCC structure. As the main use of stainless steel is to avoid corrosion, stainless steel is prevalent in the food industry as shown in the picture above along with an material that needs durability.

2) Heat Resistant Plastic

   Heat resistant plastic are specialized plastics that are designed to withstand heat for the use of the plastic in high temperature usage. On such example of this is bakelite a polymer that was heavily used throughout the mid 20th century.

3) Tempered Glass 

   Tempered glass is an annealed glass which strengthens the glass and prevents the sharp shattering of glass. The tempered glass in the picture above is used in cooking with specific materials being Pyrex glass, but it can also be used in safety applications such as car windows to avoid sharp glass in a result of shattering.
